ALL ABOUT KETOSIS

Why does a diet with low carbs, low calories and portion control work? It causes your body to enter a state called ketosis where your body uses fat cells for fuel and energy. Ketosis is the key to the Wellness Mode Diet and keeping your weight off forever.

Ketosis happens when your body switches to burning fat instead of sugar for energy and only happens when you eat the right carbohydrates in the right amount. It provides natural appetite suppression that aids immensely in keeping excess weight off long-term. Ketosis literally helps you stop thinking about food all the time without having to take prescription medication!

The Wellness Mode Diet uses low carb, high protein meals in order to maintain a state of ketosis and help you lose that weight that you're tired of holding on to.

How does ketosis suppress your appetite?

Meet ghrelin. Ghrelin is called “the hunger hormone” because it increases appetite and is released from your stomach and intestines.

Ketosis completely suppresses the increase in ghrelin levels which results in less appetite naturally.

CUSTOMIZED MEAL PLAN & ASSISTED SHOPPING

Every person is different with their own weight goals, health issues, and concerns. Your weekly menu is designed with only YOU in mind so that your personal goals can be accomplished and your health can be the best it's ever been. Your meal plan for the week comes with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and three snacks so you'll know exactly what and how much you're eating each day.

Not only are all your meals detailed for you in your menu, but your Wellness Mode Consultant will go to the grocery store with you to teach you precisely how to shop for healthy eating according to your specific health needs. You won't be left wondering if you bought the wrong food because you'll have all the help you need standing right next to you.

1-ON-1 COACHING

Have a question about ANYTHING about your diet? Your Wellness Mode Consultant will be available to you by phone from 6:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday to assist you. No question is too big or too small. Need extra encouragement when you're tempted by a sugary Starbucks drink or a plate full of carbs? Text your consultant! Your weigh-ins and progress will be closely monitored by your consultant who can make adjustments with your meal plan as needed to make sure that you hit all of your goals.

Monday - Friday: 6am - 6pm

Saturday - Sunday: CLOSED

 

NO PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION

In some diet plans, a doctor will prescribe a medication called Phentermine. Phentermine is a stimulant similar to an amphetamine which is used to suppress your appetite and promote weight loss for a short period of time. This can cause rapid or irregular heartbeat, delirium, panic, psychosis, and heart failure. Not only that, but once your body has built up a tolerance to it, the medication no longer works and patients tend to go back to their old eating habits without any additional knowledge in how and what to eat to maintain actual wellness.

The Wellness Mode Diet does NOT use any prescription medication and instead, takes advantage of a natural body process.
